Ultra-Luxurious Intimate Destination Wedding
“The best memories are made when gathered around a table.”
With a love of family and food at the heart of their 4-day destination wedding, I can’t think of a better quote to describe Bonny and Philip’s intimate wedding celebrations.
Every couple has their unique idea of what a perfect wedding looks like for them. For Bonny and Phillip, being able to combine their extensive travel experiences, their enjoyment of food and wine from around the world, and their love of contemporary architecture – depicted the image of their dream wedding. For Bonny, it what also extremely important to honour each guest attending their Wedding by creating unique, personalised experiences for each of their 11 guests.
What a joy it was to translate their wedding vision into a reality!
Bespoke Wedding Planning Details
With family and food as the focal point for this dream wedding, it made absolute sense to introduce Bonny to the maestros, Luke & Katie Wannacot from Table Seven (the multi-award-winning culinary duo owning one of the top 10 restaurants in Cape Town). As Bonny regaled favourite dishes from her and Phillip’s global adventures, contrasting ideas of rustic Italian cuisine, highly styled Japanese fusion-style tapas, Meditterean dishes and large Moroccan sharing platters; a food-themed wedding celebration started to spring to mind. With ideas flowing, it soon became apparent that we could honour their wedding vision by creating a unique food theme for each day of their 4-day wedding celebration, uniquely designed in a way that would best portray the style of the food.
The concept of an Italian-themed pre-wedding dinner, Mediterranean brunch, Asian-Fusion Japanese inspired wedding reception dinner, and an East African/Moroccan–inspired post-wedding feast was born.
