Moroccan Inspired Extravaganza
Morocco meets Cape Town for this modern post-wedding farewell dinner!
If there is one thing I have learnt with wedding planning in Cape Town is ALWAYS, and I mean always have a solid Plan B, and thank goodness we did for Bonny & Phillip’s post-wedding dinner in Llandudno!
I watch the weather like a hawk for weeks prior to any event, but Cape Towns weather is massively unpredictable! Unfortunately, a blustering South Easter started to blow on the morning we were due to set up flowing Bedouin tents around the swimming pool for Bonny & Phillip’s farewell dinner.
Stylish Sunset Pre-Dinner Cocktails
We changed the setting to one of the smaller, more protected balconies on the third floor of the residence for sunset cocktails and moved the entire dinner indoors with some swift leg work.
The elevation afforded us even more spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean and a gorgeous, intimate, relaxed setting for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés. DJ Dario created a magical ambience, and laughter and conversation flowed for the newlyweds to enjoy a wonderful afternoon surrounded by their loved ones.
Modern Moroccan-Inspired Feast to Table
The planned Al Fresco dinner was quickly switched up by the dynamic Table Seven team and served on smaller platters and plated to the dining room table.
With magnificent desert-inspired floral arrangements, beautiful lighting with the ocean’s backdrop, rhythmic tunes of DJ Dario, the post-wedding dinner was a stunning, intimate evening for the families to feast and enjoy their last evening together in Cape Town.
