Lancewood’s luxury indulgent product launch held at Rooftop on Bree in Cape Town was inspired by a modern-day Alice in Wonderland / American ice-cream parlour with three distinct areas each emulating their new indulgent double cream yoghurt’s distinct flavours; baked lemon cheesecake, Turkish delight (oh my word – this is our new favourite guilt-free dessert!) and chocolate.
Using Lancwewood’s creative brand concept “Indulge in your sweet escape” we designed and incorporated decor and design elements as well as sensory and catering concepts to align with the yoghurt’s unique flavours.

Cool themed launch details
Influencers and media guests were welcomed by themed activators and waiters dressed using the colours of the zone they were working in (note the cute colourful socks and sunglasses and waiters’ aprons).
The catering was also specific to each zone and reflected the unique essence of each flavour. For instance, we served an assortment of tacos with lemon wedges and frozen margaritas in the baked lemon cheesecake zone along with mini New York-style baked lemon cheesecakes which guests could adorn with their own toppings to eat on the spot or take home to enjoy later!
Guests were offered baked lemon cheesecake yoghurt-tasting samples in scooped-out frozen lemon wedges and also given sample packs of the yoghurts to take home.

Decor and styling ideas for product launch
The decor for each zone was styled to reflect the flavours and colours of the yoghurts and we incorporated various activations for guests to fully experience the attributes of each flavour.
The baked lemon cheesecake zone, styled in white, yellow and green was crisp and fresh with modern decor and showcased bespoke lemon wedge swings which everyone loved for their Instagram posts. Smaller elements included scratch-and-sniff lemon stickers and a blackboard inviting influencers to write messages on.

Unique product launch ideas
The Turkish delight zone was designed to be immersive, soft and ephemeral – reflective of the delicate Turkish delight flavour of the yoghurt. The area was encapsulated in velvet furniture in soft shades of pink and a suspended rose chandelier and a rose photo wall with rose-scented bubbles wafting through the air.
Rose-scented candles emitted a delicate scent to guests seated in the lounge area and guests were treated to a relaxing and dreamy rose-oil hand massage.
Catering included delicious pieces of Turkish delight, nougat, Turkish delight frozen yoghurt and meringues topped with fresh berries and pink MCC topped with candy floss!
The Turkish delight yoghurt samples were served in pink and white striped gelato cups with edible sugared rose petals.

Design and styling
The chocolate zone featured a 3-tiered chocolate fountain with the most delicious and decadent chocolate brownies for those with a seriously sweet tooth like mine:-)! And to switch things up, we included ostrich steak bites with a delicious chilli choc sauce and chocolate-flavoured martinis!
The furniture and styling incorporated shades of browns, creams and whites, whilst the surrounding walls made one feel like you were floating along a river of swirling thick chocolate!
The decadent chocolate yoghurt samples were served in martini glasses with shavings of white and dark Lindt chocolate.

In line with the indulgent theme, guests received a thank-you gift which included a unique blend of lemon tea, chocolate truffles and Sally Handson Turkish Delight.
