Farm Chic Pink and Grey Marquee Wedding
Born in South Africa but living in the United Kingdom, Johan and Danielle returned to their South African roots for their destination wedding. Their wedding vision was to spend an intimate and relaxed weekend with their family and friends in the outdoors where they could enjoy running, hiking and mountain biking – their joint passion.
Pat Busch Mountain Estate nestled in the Robertson mountains was the perfect location for their friends and family travelling from abroad and locally as it’s large enough to accommodate 100 guests on the estate.
The bridal party stayed at the luxury Africamps Tents part of Pat Busch which boasts the most majestic mountain views.

Danielle and her bridesmaids spent a relaxed morning sipping chilled champagne and looked so pretty in their matching floral gowns. Danielle looked absolutely radiant in her exquisite intricate lace wedding dress. We loved the bridesmaid’s unusual floral print dresses and the oh-so-cute flower girls and page boys!
Johan and his groomsmen looked exceptionally dapper in their dark navy blue suits after spending a lazy day swimming in the dam and barbequing.

Outdoor Forest Wedding Ceremony
The late afternoon forest wedding ceremony offered a lovely respite from the day’s heat and wind and was an intimate and heartfelt celebration of the couple’s love. There wasn’t a dry eye in the forest during their wedding ceremony.

The pre-reception and marquee wedding reception took place in the expansive meadow at Pat Busch surrounded by the Robertson mountains and forest. With a 15m suspended floral arch and strung fairy lights, the marquee looked resplendent at sunset.

Johan and Danielle being avid foodies paired their food menu to their favourite local wines and served freshly chucked west coast oysters with champagne and a delectable cheese board consisting of the finest cheeses from around Robertson and the Western Cape.

Guests danced the night away under the starlight African sky to the vibrant beats of DJ Chopper.

From the gorgeous flowers by Epanoir Flower Studio, beautiful pre-reception music by The String Quartet, delicious oysters by The Oyster Kings and music by DJ Chopper that rocked guests well into the night, this wedding was certainly one we will remember for a long time to come!
