Beautiful Bohemian-inspired Wedding
Nestled in the breathtaking Robertson Valley, Pat Busch Mountain Estate provided the perfect setting for a wedding that was as unique and vibrant as the couple themselves. Tami, a talented graphic designer, and Rikus, an electrical engineer with a creative spark, share a deep love for music festivals, and they dreamed of bringing that same electric energy to their wedding day.
The wedding festivities started with a relaxed dinner at Saggy Stone on the first night and an informal day with outdoor guest activities the following day before their late afternoon wedding ceremony.
A Magical Setting in the Heart of Nature
Pat Busch Mountain Estate offered a picturesque escape for the wedding celebrations with its lush fynbos-covered mountains, crystal-clear dams, and scenic hiking trails. Known for its breathtaking landscapes and serene ambience, the estate provided an idyllic retreat where guests could immerse themselves in nature. From kayaking and fishing to mountain biking and hiking, the estate had something for everyone, making it a dream venue for an adventurous and free-spirited couple like Tami and Rikus.
Bohemian Bride
Tami looked gorgeous in her bohemian-style all-lace wedding gown designed by South African designer Robyn Roberts. Her close friend and Bulb Flowers owner, Zahn Rust, lovingly created Tammy’s exquisite floral crown and beautiful bridal and bridesmaid bouquets.

The atmosphere was light-hearted and festive, with wedding games such as Corn Hole, giant Jenga, and Boules keeping everyone entertained. Signature cocktails, inspired by the couple’s favourite festival drinks, were served alongside a vibrant harvest table laden with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, fresh fruit, and gourmet nibbles—a feast that set the perfect tone for the evening ahead.
Ice-Breaker Seating Name Cards
Adding a personal and interactive touch, the seating name cards were designed to encourage mingling. Each guest’s name card included a fun suggestion of who they should find and strike up a conversation with—creating an instant ice-breaker and ensuring that connections were made throughout the evening.
