Cape Town Bar Mitzvah
Bespoke Beach Themed Celebration
Occasionally we play and have a lot of fun designing themed celebrations, and this Bar Mitzvah was one of those happy occasions.
Hosted at Colourlab Studios, the beach-themed Bar Mitzvah was entirely bespoke with enormous suspended beach umbrellas, brightly coloured decor and four beach-inspired food stalls offering a delectable feast.
Colourlab Studios is one of those versatile blank canvas venues that are perfect for celebrations and weddings. With a large outdoor balcony, stunning views of Table Mountain and the city and a massive interior space with a built-in bar, this venue can easily be customized for any wedding or celebration.
Celebration Design and Styling
Waiters dressed in Hawian leis served non-alcoholic cocktails on arrival, introducing guests to the beach theme at the entrance to the venue.
The arrival area, themed with surfboards and a large poster memory board, was a fun way to get guests to write special birthday messages for the host.
Celebration Entertainment
Giant inflatables throughout the area served as both beach-themed decor and seating! Guests had plenty of fun taking keep-sake Instagram photos at the Vintage photobooth and TikTok videos at the 360 photo booth.
The biggest surprise of the evening was not one but two of South Africa’s top entertainers, The Kiffness and DJ Cosher, rocking the Bar Mitzvah with fabulous tunes and keeping everyone on the dance floor with their great vibes.
Celebration Catering
Popcorn, slushies, giant candyfloss, sushi and four beach-style food stalls ensured guests were treated to delicious culinary delights!
