Moroccan Inspired Extravaganza
Morocco meets Cape Town for Bonny and Philipp’s post-wedding farewell dinner!
If there is one thing I have learnt about wedding and celebration planning in Cape Town, it is to always, and I mean always, have a solid Plan B! Thank goodness we did for Bonny and Philipp’s post-wedding dinner in Llandudno. True to form, our famous blustering summer South Easter wind was gusting on the day of their post-wedding farewell dinner!
Moroccan-inspired Post-Wedding Dinner
Flowing Bedouin tents, which were planned to surround the magnificent sparkling swimming pool, had to be abandoned for a more intimate set-up spanning two new areas instead of one. Bonny’s dad’s magnificent Llundudno villa, where the dinner was being hosted, had multiple balconies, and the one we chose was beautifully protected from the summer wind.

Stylish Sunset Cocktail Reception
The balcony on the third floor of the private villa was ideal for late afternoon cocktails, and guests were treated to even more spectacular views and a golden orange sunset.
The elevation afforded us even more spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and a gorgeous, intimate, relaxed setting for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés. DJ Dario created a magical ambience, and laughter and conversation flowed for the newlyweds to enjoy a wonderful afternoon surrounded by their loved ones.
